Sponge-Jack-Square Pants

When Burls told Jack it was his round and Jack refused Burls had to resort to the 1 thing Jack hates..........A SPONGE

Put it this way Burls got his drink.

So next time Jack refuse's to get the drinks in....Dont forget the trusty Sponge, not only a helping hand when having a wash(apart from Jack) but also helps getting a drink off him

BREAKING NEWS:- Picture (18th March 2006) Schnaps

On the recent post on this website i think i have found the main reason why people started to vanish from Schnaps on Saturday 18th March 2006.

This picture was taken approx 15mins before the walk-out
(please note, no computer enhancement has been used on this picture)

So could this picture hold the key reason for the mass walk out?

The Amazing disappearing Act of Nearly Everyone

Where did everyone go on Sat? Your all light weights (well, apart from Susan and Turks) I was still going strong (although feeling a little sick) at half 3 with some lasses that would put you lads to shame when it comes to drinking! going home at 12, should be illegal

Anyways the reason im writhing this post is cus I thought there were some photos. I especially want to see the one of me in Kirstys coat as I think I looked quite dashing

P.S. I went to Henry's (and it is still Henrys not Time) for the first time in a year and then remembered quite quickly why i hadn't been for a year. I must admit that its a lot quieter than it used to be so easy to get a drink, but it also means your more likely to bump into someone you don't like and you feel more like a loner when your waiting for someone to get off the dance floor. To dispel a myth it was only £6 to get in but that could have been cus it was after 12 but that's still to much anyway in my books

By the way the poker night at my house has been cancelled due to old people not being very good at time management, will def be on a some point but apparently decorating the front room doesn't leave time for anything else, work that out. Want another game soon though so we'll have to sort something out

Well, apologies for the long one but there we go

Nice quote I heard earlier as well "A lie will have run around the world before the truth has got its boots on". Think about it.

In 2006 a team of crack drinker's were accused of a crime they did not commit. After escaping a maximum security 'lock in' stockade they disappeared into the Scunthorpe underground. If you have a problem and you can find them? Maybe you can call on the 'Y' Team. der dad der dered der

The 80's and 90's, Great days!

Appoligies for the lengths of theses but i think there good and the 80's one hits the spot

In the 80's

According to today's regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were kids in the early 80's probably shouldn't have survived, because our baby cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based paint which was promptly chewed and licked. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, or latches on doors or cabinets and it was fine to play with pans. When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets, just flip-flops and fluorescent 'spokey dokey's' on our wheels. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or airbags - riding in the passenger seat was a treat. We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle and it tasted the same.
We ate chips, bread and butter pudding and drank fizzy juice with sugar in it, but we were never overweight because we were always outside playing. We shared one drink with four friends, from one bottle or can and no-one actually died from this. We would spend hours building go-carts out of scraps and then went top speed down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into stinging nettles a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We would
leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one minded. No 99 channels on TV, no videotape movies, no surround sound, no mobile phones, no personal computers, no DVDs, no Internet chat rooms.
We had friends - we went outside and found them. We played elastics and rounders, and sometimes that ball really hurt! We fell out of trees, got cut, and broke bones but there were no law suits. We had full on fist fights but no prosecution followed from other parents. We played
chap-the-door-run-away and were actually afraid of the owners catching us. We walked to friends' homes. We also, believe it or not, WALKED to school; we didn't rely on mummy or daddy to drive us to school, which was just round the corner. We made up games with sticks and tennis balls. We rode bikes in packs of 7 and wore our coats by only the hood. The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of...They actually sided with the law.
This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and problem solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all. This, my friends, is surprisingly frightening......and it might put a smile on your face: The majority of students in universities today were born in 1986........They are called youth. They have never heard of We are the World, We are the children, and the Uptown Girl they know is by Westlife not Billy Joel.
They have never heard of Rick Astley, Bananarama, Nena Cherry or Belinda Carlisle. (possibly not a bad thing of course....) For them, there has always been only one Germany and one Vietnam. AIDS has existed since they were born. CD's have existed since they were born. Michael Jackson has always been white. To them John Travolta has always been round in shape and they can't imagine how this fat guy could be a god of dance. They believe that Charlie's Angels and Mission Impossible are films from last year. They can never imagine life before computers. They'll never have pretended to be the A Team, Red Hand Gang or the Famous Five. They'll never have applied to be on Jim'll Fix It or Why Don't You. They can't believe a black and white television ever existed. And they will never understand how we could leave the house without a mobile phone.

In the 90's

You knew every word to the theme tune from Fresh Prince of Bel Air
You collected Premier League Stickers and did swoops at playtime
Girls wore crappy lipstick such as - coffee shimmer, heather shimmer

You wore kickers and wallaby's with the tags hanging from them
You thought saying - "I know you are, you said you are but what am
I" to every cuss that that came your way!

when you used to run away from some thing and shout ' leg iiiiiitt'

Poker Pics

The Mekon Regains His Crown!

I've put up a little poker league in place of the unused links on the left. As you can see I'm in the lead by 1.

Jacks luck seems to have dried up and wasn't ever a serious threat on sat. Perhaps a period of convalescence and reflection will bring him back to form.

Turkey played like his usual happy go lucky self, always worrying as he doesn't really understand the meaning of the word bluff.

Ric only seemed to have £50 in chips but always seemed to be still in. Work that out.

Shorty was drunk.

I always find it hard to remember what Dave did (apart from get a big lump on his head and I aint laughed like that in ages!) which means he must be a boring player, the Steve Davis of the poker world except Steve Davis plays poker so I don't know how that all works out in the end.

My worry is Andy "Dark Horse" Peacock. Never seen a poker face like it, and, although lucky at the final showdown, won a well deserved game. Kudos to you evil Andy.

A few good games and a good night, cheers lads

The Things People Get in the Paper For

Look at shorty the athaletic power house that he is. Dave in an episode of one foot in the grave. If you look closley you can see Turkey is giving Jacks arse a tickle and from Jack's smile it looks like he likes it!

Thursday, February 16, 2006

I've just been on a short trip to Vienna and I had a very disturbing conversation!

I was walking around an art gallery of 11th - 16th Centuary art, not understanding any of it, and mainly concentrating on the fact that Jesus was missing a penis in every single painting ( why?). Anyway, a seemingly nice man, started to describe some important features to us (except the penis thing), before suddenly stating that he was a firm believer in alternative therapies. He then proceeded to talk for ten minutes, telling us the benefits of drinking your own urine, and trying to persuade us to try it. Having never been in a situation like this, i had no idea how to make him stop and escape, and i spent the time thinking, this guy drinks his own piss! He also spoke of the benefits of rubbing it on your skin ( I couldn't smell anything dodgy), and I have to admit, his skin did look soft.

I knew there was a reason I tried to avoid being cultured and going to art galleries!

Logo (altered)

After getting hold of a copy of the one turkey had it turned out to be a scan of a label itself and would have caused a few problems when it was being used. I had a look on tinternet for a digital version of the one he used and couldn't find one. I used one quite similar (same brand) and used the ideas that turkey had which looked great. Don't know what you think but it has 2005 on it for when we started and im prob going to add the names of everyone involved either arround the edge or next to the red star in the middle. anways let me know what you think (igonre the blue it just means transparent)

ROB THE PHYSCHO!!!!

OBEY THE MEKON!!!

Some old stuff

I like the one with steve rob and steve on. It reminds me of a film like Goodfellas where the gansters all walk in a restaurant and every one knows them and there like 'hey how you doing' (in a gangster acent of course)and steve looks a bit like a ganster 'fat tony' not that Im saying your fat mate you just got that vibe on the photo. The one with ric and the drink is when I first discovered the hell that is the weng way. Can't remeber much about that night. One of our famous corky towers obviously. and I just had the last one labled as 'smarmy ric', think you can tell why

Let me know and we can sort somet asap gives us plenty of time to save etc! Over and out!!!

Recieved this on an E-mail

I got sent this on an e-mail and thought i had to share it with everyone

A Joke I saw in the Newspaper...

A couple were walking home from
the pub when the women said she
was busting for a pee.
"Go behind the tree
and i'll keep a lookout"
said the fella
"No" she said " i dont trust you"
So they walked on for another half-
mile and then she said again she
was busting for a slash.
"Go behind that fence"
said the bloke, "i'll keep a watch"
"i dont trust you" she said.
But after another half-mile, she
could no longer stop herself and so
she went behind a bush.
The fella thought he would have
a crafty feel and put his hand under-
neath the women.
"Have you changed sex?" he asked.
"No" she replied. "i changed my mind.
i'm having a shit"

Poker Dogs

The picture that someone said jack should put up in his room and the simpsons humorous interpretation. Think homers saying something like "Oh my God.....They're dogs and they're playing poker!!!" Very funny if you've seen it .

Poker Results

I would like to congratulate Mungo and Andy for their victories on Sat. However, I would like to just say how crap sitting for an hour and watching Jack and Mungo play was. Think ric was right, both tight wads so didn't want to give it up! Special Congratulations goes out to the Peacock for a stunning victory against Nutters. The underdog proved his worth and knoked me and jack out early on (first for me in fact) so much for us being champions. I wouldn't have wanted to lose to anyone else though as I don't really like any of the rest of you

POKER 2006

Just to recap poker will be this saturday at Jacks house....or to a select few Club 31A!!!!
Start 730pm so get here before them!
Il buy a box of pringles just for rick, if he wants more food he can go next door...cos i cant im barred!

Remember this is a gentlemans private club so a dress code will apply, Turkey informs me that he will be the bouncer.....add your own comments to that!

So let me know the numbers then i can go out and rob some more stools from Parkies!

Blue Peter Competition

I remember them doing stuff like this on Blue Peter before it got crap.

I would like a logo for The Booze website. Mainly cus I want to get a load of customised poker stuff but the applications are endless.

Guess it can be whatever you want, by try to keep it in terms of what the websites about. I've been drawing pint pots for most of the morning but art is definitely not my forte. Anyways if someone comes up with something good I know a couple of people who would then be able to do it professional like.

If you do it in paint or some other such program you can just add it as an image so we can all have a look a pick the best one

The winner gets a packet of strawberry chewits

Mungo: The Hunt Continues!!

Mungo has once again been spotted! Mungo does seem to get about a fair bit. This photo was believed to be taken by a rabid monkey named Poncho (one of Mungos zoo friends of old) working illegally in the U.S.A.
However it looks as though it may be a little bit hot for Mungo here so I'm sure he's already moved on.
The search continues!!
I have no pictures of Dave "Rubber Legs" Holloway from new years eve! Someone should really put something on here plus im sure someone's got one of jack doing the worm.

News Years Ticket to baths: £6
Cost of beers for the night: £30
The look on Leanne's face as Dave was dancing: Priceless
