Finally bloody nearly done it! Ok on the right you can see the map (bear with me while I sort out the dimensions and stuff), ones a link
Right.... it works sort of like the blog, I have to invite you to contribute. You can then add your own pubs that you have boozed in. I don't think you will be able to do it until you have been invited. In the mean time I've put a couple of examples down. When you are invited this is how it works:
Search for the pub you have been too (a post code works best but I put in "blue bell, Scunthorpe" and that worked) that will bring up the location, left click the balloon and on the bottom right it will say add to my map, click this and bobs your uncle. What I've also been doing is, once you've added it you can left click again and it brings up a box for details, I've been adding the people who have drank in said pub. If its all of us I've just put "all" There is also space under that for any more comments so if something is particularly good about the pub, let us know.
I'll be sending out invites soon. If you have any probs give me a shout

The "Buffalo" Theory
In one episode of "Cheers", Cliff is seated at the bar describing the Buffalo Theory to his buddy, Norm. I don't think I've ever heard the concept explained any better than this . . .
"Well you see, Norm, it's like this . . . A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the lowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

Cricket 22/8/08
Not long to go now then is it. The mini bus will be leaving The Bluebell at 12 noon, I'll be there from about 11 for some food. The mini bus costs £200 butt weve paid £40 deposit so that obvoiusly leaves £160 between us. As far as I know everyone is coming on the bus apart from Chris Smart. The bus leaves Leeds at 11.
The 13 are Big Dave, Turks, Peterbourgh James, Burly, Short Jnr, Short Snr, Phil Brumby, Rick Brumby, Tom Brumby, Puke Hound, Rob Smart, Chris Smart, Jack.
Well at least thats what I think it is as I dont have the list or the tickets any more, Turks has got them all. And yes i have asked for a big enough mini-bus!!
To the regiment.............................
